Sampler love

I've decided to start a new blog to keep a record of my crafty makes mostly cross stitching at the moment but hope to get better acquainted with my sewing machine, and get sewing!
Here's my current project, a tradional sampler by Moira Blackburn, called Need of Love

I'm in love with anything to do with samplers right now and have just acquired some new charts to add to my stash

Brenda Keyes, The Sampler Company has some gorgeous designs
I am trying to be good and finish Need of Love before starting another, but it is tempting :) I have a few wips on the go, I really must have a fresh look through them and try to work on 1 or 2, I have Mirabilia's Red started and would love to finish her, need to get an upto date pic taken so I can share my progress

It was Mother's Day on Sunday 15th, I was spoiled by my 3 children

I have 2 Sons 22 and 19 and a Daughter 17, I got some stash money from my eldest, well it wasn't actually stated it was for stash but that's what I'm keeping it for :)

Well that's my 1st post made, I hope it wasn't too bad to read, please leave a comment so I can visit your blog, bye for now x

  1. Hi Lisa, thank you for visiting my blog and becoming a follower. I'm excited to be your first follower.
I love samplers, Brenda Keyes are always amazing. I have a large WIP sampler that I really need to get back to working on, it's Carriage House Samplings "Alphabet Blocks". Got to find that mojo of mine which is taking an extended holiday at the moment, but seeing as its cooling down now here in Australia I might have it return.
    Enjoy the blogging world Lisa.
